Working with no signal
In a dead zone the app keeps working with what's saved on your phone. It saves a copy of your jobs every time they load, so open the app (and your jobs) once while you have signal.
What still works
- Your jobs list - it shows No signal - showing your jobs saved at … with the time it was saved.
- Opening a job to see the address, customer, phone number and notes; Call and Directions still open your phone and maps app.
- Adding job notes and photos: you'll see No signal - saved on this phone. They send by themselves when you have signal, or tap Send now on the bar at the bottom.
- A bar at the bottom says You're offline and how many changes are waiting.
What needs signal
- Taking payment (card, cash or link), "I'm on my way", extras and their approval, and moving a job.
- Seeing new jobs or changes made by your company - they appear when the signal is back.
- Pages you haven't opened before show You're offline - tap Open my jobs.
Good to know
- Saved changes wait for up to 7 days. If your company cancelled the job meanwhile, you'll see why it couldn't be sent.
- Signing out removes the saved jobs from the phone (changes still waiting are kept and send next time you sign in).
