Signing your engineer agreement
If you are self-employed, your company may ask you to sign their engineer agreement. Until it's signed, a yellow banner shows at the top of the app: you can still use the app and take jobs, but your pay is on hold until you sign. When they publish a new version you get an email with a Read and accept link and the banner comes back - a new version only applies once you accept it.
How to sign

Tap Read and sign on the yellow banner (or the link in the email), then read the agreement to the end
Take your time - you can go Back to my jobs and come back to it. Your pay is held until it's signed. Why this agreement beside the title explains it in plain English - it signs nothing.

Check the Who is signing? details
These come from your profile and go on the signed copy and your payment statements. Fix anything that's wrong here.

Tick the box to say you have read and agree to it
The tick is locked until you have scrolled to the end of the agreement: an amber bar above the text shows how much you have read, and Keep scrolling to the end moves you on. It turns green when you reach the end. On a computer the agreement scrolls inside its own box - scroll inside it, not the page. The tick also confirms the name you type is your full legal name and, if you gave a company, that you can sign for it.

Type your full legal name (first and last name) and tap Sign agreement
Typing your name is your signature. You and your company both get a copy by email.
Limited companies: the personal guarantee
If you work through a limited company you sign the agreement for the company as its director. Your company may also ask for a Personal guarantee - a separate promise made by you personally. It appears on the next screen with its full wording and your company name and number: read it, type your full name again, tick I give this personal guarantee and tap Give personal guarantee. Why this is separate explains what it covers and what it doesn't. Until it's signed your pay stays on hold (the banner says Give the guarantee).
Finding your signed copy later
Go to Profile › Services & business › Your agreement and tap Download PDF.
