    Job alerts on your phone

Job alerts pop up on your phone like any app's notifications. They're free, and they come as well as the job text, so you never miss a new or moved job.

    Turning them on

    1. 1

iPhone: add the app to your home screen first

In Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add. Open the app from the new icon - alerts only work from there, not in a Safari tab.

    2. 2

Go to Profile and find Job alerts on this phone (or tap the card on your dashboard)

    3. 3

Tap Turn on job alerts, then Allow when your phone asks

    4. 4

Tap Send me a test alert to check it works

What you get an alert for

    • A new job, a job given to you, a job moved or cancelled, and a customer asking for a different time.
    • A customer approving (or not agreeing to) extras you added.
    • A customer paying by payment link.
    • Tap the alert to open the job.

    Good to know

    • Alerts are set up per phone - turn them on on each phone you use.
    • You get the job text as well as the alert, so if an alert doesn't arrive (for example alerts are off) you still have the text.
    • You still get an email for each job.
    • To stop them, tap Turn off in Profile.
