Coverage

    Cover by drive time

Instead of drawing, tell the app how far you'll drive and it traces the areas along real roads from your home postcode. It's the easiest way to set coverage on a phone.

On Coverage Zones, find Cover by drive time

    2. 2

Set No travel charge up to (e.g. 35 min drive)

If your company sets this for you, it shows "(set by the business)" and can't be changed.

    3. 3

Add bands: Then up to a longer drive, with a Travel charge

Tap Add a further band for more - up to 10 bands, out to 2 hours. Each band starts at £0; a suggested charge is shown (up to 60 min £0, 75 min £30, 90 min £50, then £20 more for each further 15 min), and you choose.

Tap Add drive-time areas, check them on the map, then press Save changes

    Good to know

    • Drive times use normal road speeds, not live traffic, so they're approximate.
    • Over 60 minutes, areas are worked out again from about 50 points around the edge of your 45- and 60-minute areas, so they follow real roads and stop at the coast. They're marked "(estimate)" and usually come out a little short.
    • If a town you can reach is just outside an area, open the area and use Adjust the edge (drag points) to pull the edge out. Redo drive-time areas would undo that.
    • Redo drive-time areas replaces all your drive-time areas (anything named "Drive: …"). Your other areas stay.
    • If you move house, update your home postcode on Profile › Schedule, then tap Redo drive-time areas.
    • Where areas overlap, the customer pays the lowest charge.
    • Limited to 20 runs an hour - if it says "Too many requests", wait a little.
