Your calendar and blocking time off

Reading your calendar
- Switch between day and week, and use ‹ Today › to move around.
- On a phone the week is a day-by-day list; on a computer it's a grid.
- Tap a job to open it. Grey ⊘ cards are blocked time.
- Blocks marked Private come from your Google Calendar - the app never copies the event's title.
- Under the calendar: Today's jobs and a This week summary.
Blocking time
- 1
Tap Block time (or the + on a day)
- 2
Pick the Date, Start time, End time and a Reason
Reasons are Lunch break, Internal appointment, Personal time, Sick leave or Other. Add notes if you like.
- 3
Tap Block time
Customers can't book you in that time.
Good to know
- A block covers one day, between 06:00 and 22:00. For a week off, add a block for each day - or, easier, add an all-day event to your Google input calendar (see Google Calendar).
- Blocking time doesn't move or cancel jobs already booked in it.
- To change a block, tap it, Remove block, and add a new one.
- Removing a Private block only removes the app's copy - delete the event in Google or it may come back.
- You can't drag jobs around the calendar. To move a job, open it and tap Reschedule.
- Your working hours aren't shown on the calendar - see Working hours and home base.
